When the appropriate Vault is found and chosen, you can proceed with investment. You need to deposit the required assets into Vault contract that will perform all the entry transactions.

  1. Access the Shift DeFi Platform:

    • Visit the official website:

  2. Select the Vault:

    • Choose the vault that aligns with your investment goals and risk tolerance. Click on the selected vault to view more details about the Vault.

  3. Set Up a Wallet:

    • Make sure you have a compatible decentralized wallet installed, such as MetaMask or another Ethereum wallet. Fund your wallet with the desired cryptocurrency or tokens you want to deposit into the Vault.

  4. Connect Your Wallet:

    • Connect your wallet to the Shift DeFi platform. There is a "Connect Wallet" button in the Deposit section. Click on it and follow the prompts to connect your wallet..

  5. Choose the asset for deposit:

    • It depends on the asset on your wallet. It it is required, it will be swapped.

  6. Enter deposit amount:

    • Enter the amount of tokens you want to deposit into the selected vault.

  7. Give required Approves:

    • Approve the deposited asset for interaction with the Vault contract and Operators’ contracts that will transfer the liquidity to the destination point.

  8. Confirm the deposit:

    • Review the transaction details, including gas fees, and confirm the deposit. This action will typically prompt your wallet to open, where you can confirm the transaction.

  9. Track your transactions:

    • You can follow your liquidity using Transactions flow dashboard. In real time it shows the flow of transactions in order to arrive to the Vault strategy allocation. It will take some time for the liquidity to settle due to bridge operations.
