How to shuffle between Vault versions

Last updated 1 year ago

Sometimes the Vault composition is updated due to different reasons: exit from the strategy, APY decrease, new outperforming Vault composition. Hence, it is better for you to switch to the new version of the Vault that will help you to catch the best farming opportunities.

  1. Access the Shift DeFi Platform:

    • Visit the official website:

  2. Choose the previously invested Vault or visit “Your positions” section on Dashboard page:

    • Choose the required Vault

  3. Connect Your Wallet:

    • Connect your decentralized wallet, such as MetaMask, to the platform. Look for a "Connect Wallet" button on the website and follow the prompts to connect your wallet.

  4. Select the Withdraw section and run Withdraw:

    • Turn on the Withdraw section (Deposit → Withdraw) and choose the Vault share to be withdrawn (for full exit the share should be equal to 100%).

  5. Start withdrawal:

    • Launch and confirm the withdrawal transaction through your wallet. This may involve reviewing and approving the transaction details.

  6. Track your withdrawal transactions:

    • You can follow your liquidity using Transactions flow dashboard. In real time it shows the flow of transactions in order to arrive to your wallet. It will take some time for the liquidity to settle due to bridge operations.

  7. Select the Vault:

    • After the funds arrive to your wallet choose the Vault of new version. Review the details about the Vault.

  8. Choose the asset for deposit:

    • It depends on the asset on your wallet. It it is required, the asset will be swapped.

  9. Enter deposit amount:

    • Enter the amount of tokens you want to deposit into the selected vault.

  10. Give required Approves:

    • Approve the deposited asset for interaction with the Vault contract and Operators’ contracts that will transfer the liquidity to the destination point.

  11. Confirm the deposit:

    • Review the transaction details, including gas fees, and confirm the deposit. This action will typically prompt your wallet to open, where you can confirm the transaction.

  12. Track your transactions:

    • You can follow your liquidity using Transactions flow dashboard. In real time it shows the flow of transactions in order to arrive to the Vault strategy allocation. It will take some time for the liquidity to settle due to bridge operations.
